Overview of the Def Level Sensor

Indication Instruments provides innovative DEF Level Sensors for accurate monitoring of Diesel Exhaust Fluid level in automotive, commercial vehicles and off-highway applications. Our DEF Level Sensors incorporate advanced Reed Switch based sensor technology to provide highly accurate level sensing in challenging operating environments. These completely inhouse developed DEF Level Sensors support effective performance of SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems with accurate level measurements, temperature sensing and quality measurement options. Built with rugged and Urea-resistant materials, our DEF Level Sensors have long operational life, reliable performance and stable operation even in harsh working environments.

It measures Diesel Exhaust Fluid (AdBlue) volume in the tank so the SCR system can dose correctly and the operator can see remaining fluid. Indication’s sensor also measures temperature, and can include quality sensing.
