Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our product engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software solutions for automotive electronic products including digital instrument clusters, displays, controllers, and sensor-based systems.
The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C/C++, experience working with microcontrollers, and a passion for developing reliable real-time embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for automotive products.
- Implement application software, middleware, and device interfaces.
- Work with hardware teams for board bring-up and debugging.
- Develop software for ARM Cortex-M based microcontrollers.
- Integrate communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and validation.
- Debug software issues and optimize system performance.
- Prepare technical documentation and development reports.
- Participate in product development lifecycle activities.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong programming skills in C and Embedded C.
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
- Understanding of RTOS concepts.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, and I2C protocols.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG, Logic Analyzer, and Oscilloscope.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive electronics.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts.
- Exposure to Instrument Clusters and Digital Displays.
- Experience with STM32, NXP, Renesas, or TI microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with Git and issue tracking tools.
- Knowledge of CANalyzer or CANoe tools.
